Andrew J. Horne
Andrew J. Horne is currently a member of the Louisville and Kentucky Bar Associations, the Kentucky Justice Academy, and the American Association for Justice. He has more than 16 years of extensive experience in the areas of negligence, defective design, care and maintenance of property, premises liability, products liability, professional negligence, complex insurance coverage issues, claims against local, state and federal governments, Federal Torts Claims Act and general appellate work before both state and federal courts.
He has been co-counsel in several high profile mass tort actions. Andrew represented hundreds of people in the Firefighters litigation with the City of Louisville concerning unpaid overtime, the Archdiocese of Louisville sex abuse cases and hundreds of workers that were exposed to dangerous levels of radiation while working at the Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Paducah, Kentucky.
Andrew is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Kentucky, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and has been admitted for special cases in the state courts of Indiana, Tennessee, Vermont and West Virginia and the federal courts in Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Washington State and West Virginia, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Chicago.
